This was Hubby's Birthday card a few days ago, a Monkey he's been fan of since we discovered Jeff Panacloc's show a few years ago...Jeff Panacloc is a wonderful artist and a ventriloquist, too.. and Jean-Marc is his partner in humor!! Jeff is shy and sweet and nice, whereas Jean-Marc is loud and sarcastic and (over) self-confident... It makes a wonderful duo, great shows with much laughter and big moments of catching your breath, thinking: nooo, they wouldn't dare to say that..." and then "OMG they said it"

Jeff Panacloc is so wonderfully talented that you always forget that Jean-Marc is a puppet/plushie... he is truly a real character, someone who works with Jeff, and when we talk about parts of the show, there is always a moment when someone says "when Jean-Marc did that, did you see Jeff's face?? it was so funny!"I've chosen to draw a moment when Jean-Marc is relatively quiet and plays "escalator" behind a black curtain
Β If you undertsand French and don't know Jeff Panacloc, really google him and Jean-Marc, they will make you laugh a lot!!!

I don't know my french very well but I figured I watch just to see what the act was like. It was quite amusing and I could get a understanding of the emotions behind the jokes they were telling. I was hoping to find captions that could translate on YouTube but to no avail.

I may do that but only if I can get Google Translate a try and not have my writing seem jumbled up when trying to make sense out of it.
