Hey everyone!!This is one of the 2 wolverines I've drawn for Hubby's birthday on the 14th... it's his favorite animal and, when I was googling for reference photos, I couldn't choose between 2 poses I found lovely... so his B-day card turned into a diptych
Here is the other drawing:
The wolverine is a truly impressive and interesting animal ... it looks totally cuddly, but maybe hugging it isn't such a good idea

and well, they can be dangerous, but not more than a bear or a wolf... I think their reputation of ferocity is strong because these meat-eating guys can, alone, kill prey that's a lot bigger than them, for example deer (impressive, right?!) ... and they can be quite moody and territorial, too... when I lived near St-Felicien in Quebec, the zoo had a male wolverine... and they were trying to find him a mate, but he would fight with any other wolverine coming... like a very grumpy grandfather who wants to be alone
