This really got to me, especially the poor girl on the scale and the crying woman carrying the message in the bottle. I feel so bad for them, and I don't even know any 'stories' behind the images. Are these based on any real events? They're all so beautiful

You have mentioned wanting to sell on Etsy... I know these would sell. As greeting cards (especially the bottom one), as small prints, or even as a pack of prints. You should really go for it!

So beautiful! I'd say quaint, but your paintings are not country cottages! They are BETTER. And in so many ways, very relatable. I cannot express how much I adore and respect you and your artwork. Just very very lovely.
And the last one is what I've been doing. Writing letters to friends, except none of them have gotten sent. Letters to nowhere, haha. Although, now that I look at it again, she could be writing a grocery list, or a reminder. In any case, it's great!

I love the two old ladies in straw hats, my mum is an old white haired lady in a straw hat who spends her days in a garden so it's very um...not nostalgic, but it makes me smile a lot
