Description As I was saying about a week ago, the only things I want to draw at the moment are pictures for my animal drawing challenge, and fanart for a couple of wonderful Lion King fanfictions I discovered a few months ago

The first story is called Mufasa and Scar: the Broken Legacy: [link] and it's mostly centered around Scar and what his life was like as a cub and how he met the hyenas and such: and the second one (where this drawing kind of takes place) is called The Rise and Fall of King Scar: [link] which is about what happened with Scar and the pride between the time of Mufasa's death and Simba's return to the Pride Lands. Both are EXCELLENT stories, written by Niche Eenhoorn on fanfiction.net. If you're a Lion King fan and ever wondered about these things, I HIGHLY recommend reading her stories they're wonderful, and they tie everything up very nicely. Everything fits perfectly into the Lion King universe, and I've pretty much accepted these as canon at this point they're that good.

Okay, now that that's out of the way: I was planning on illustrating a few of my favorite scenes from said stories. I've got about 4 or 5 in mind right now, all from the second story (but I might end up doing 1 or 2 from the first one too. We'll see ) but before I jumped into anything too specific, I wanted to draw a general scenario first to "warm up."

The lionesses, from left to right, are Ndani, Zira, Kahawia, and Njano.

To give you an idea of the scenario without spoiling too much of the actual story, Ndani is an original character and is one of the lionesses who lives at Pride Rock. She is very close to Scar in age and is one of the only lionesses in the pride with whom he actually gets along with. Zira, Kahawia, and Njano, are outsiders who wander around the borders of the Pride Lands that Ndani became friends with. Ndani doesn't feel like she fits in very well with her pride mates, which is kind of how she came to meet the outsiders. Everyone knows who Zira is from the Lion King 2, but Kahawia and Njano are both original characters. Kahawia is Zira's cousin who has been with her since they were very young, and they ended up meeting Njano when they were adults. And then Ndani became friends with them sometime afterwards

So, as stated earlier, this isn't really a specific scene from the second story, but time-wise (for those of you who know the story,) it's a little while after Njano injures her leg and Ndani brings her and the outlanders to Pride Rock to stay until her leg heals. This would probably be sometime in the evening after a meal (or something) and Ndani goes to spend some time with her friends before heading back to her pride to sleep.

Ahaha, I didn't have anything in mind when I was drawing this, but looking at it again, it looks like Zira said something embarrassing about Ndani (hence her nervous smile) and the other two are kind of chuckling about it

That's pretty much it Artwork belongs to me, of course, but Zira belongs to Disney and Ndani, Kahawia, and Njano belong to Niche Eenhoorn. Hopefully I got the characters close to how the author pictured them XD I just drew them the way I thought they looked based on either the movies or certain events that happen later in the story... Such as certain cubs coming into the picture (the author will know what I'm talking about! )

I hope you guys like it! But honestly, I think you'll enjoy the drawing more if you read the story, because then things will make more sense!

*waves!* Niche Eenhoorn, here!

Oh dear, where to start... Ok. let's get the fangirling out of the way: ZOMGADLÑSDKSDKKKSKD!!!!!SQUEEEEEEEEEEELOVETHISLOLOL!!!!

*ahem* There.

I totally, and I mean TOTALLY love this fanart, I think you got the characters spot-on, and Ndani's nervous smile is so adorable hahaha. I guess they were gossiping a bit too much for her comfort!
I loved your attention to the details, especially concerning Njano's looks not resembling Zira and Kahawia. Ahh,and that wound looks just nasty, doesn't it?

Just brilliant. Ah, I just love _seeing_ the girls, lounging and being happy and relaxed.

Words can't express how much I like this, and how honored I am that you liked my stories so much and that they were a source of inspiration for your awesome talent.
*is jealous cause she can't draw to save her life*

Thanks again and I'll be keeping an eye around here!

Greetings from Holland
