Description
Transcending history and the world, a tale of souls and swords, eternally retold...Morgan lay helpless in missery and failure. Since his rescue and betrayal, his mind had not budged on his dreams of destruction. Though passionate, his means were some what out of reach. Working late into the night in Scrapbrain, he searched the data banks for any power sources, until finally, hit a phantom traget.
Something in a certain solar system was blocking attempts to search it. Though Morgan had little knowledge of what waited him in the location, he was sure it was something that he could use against his enemies. On arrival, he began an investigation into the power sourse that had brought him here, and learnt of a sword of divinity, and a sword of destruction. This was Morgans new traget.
He began his quest...
Well, this is my homage to the Soul Calibur series! a game series that always has an awesome art gallery feature on them! I love the pictures that you get on them, so i did my own version of Morgan in that style. The story is like the ones that you get at the start of the game.
Picture all done by me except the Soul Calibur 4 simbol, which was pasted in.

dude....you draw humans.....AWESOME.
i try to draw humans...but...they just...turn out wrong...i've tried drawing my characters as humans multiple times when i was in middle school but....they look ended up looking weird.-.

The anatomy needs some work and those shoes look a bit too cartoonish for the feel I think you were going for. The coloring is okay and the face could also use some work. It's not bad, but I wouldn't call it fantastic.
I suggest Anatomy for the Artist. It's a fantastic book, I got a lot of help from it.

The face, head, and hair all look pretty good.
The nose in particular. (Though the lips look a bit wonky) I also like the textures that you did with the jacket and the binoculars.
There's a few anatomy problems though, mainly with the legs and hands. And you did the shading and highlighting with the Burn&Dodge tool, which I think took away from some of the pictures potential. There's also a looooot of white space that isn't needed.
Other than that, it's not bad.

As for what you said, thanks alot, but when ever i look at the face i cant help by notice that the eyes are toooo far apart :/
as for the hands, these are some of my better ones
I used the burn tool because (bad excuse coming) i get bored when i get down to that stage of my art
when you say too much white space, do you mean round the character or bits like between his arm and body? if it is the 'around the character' one, well, i guess that is because i was trying to do my own version of the soul calibur concept art --> [link]

Alright, I might do that. Not sure if I'll lend much critique to any Sonic pictures other than coloring thoughts and proportions.
You may think the eyes are too far apart, but in fact, they're just right. The space between two eyes is the length of one eye. If that makes sense X3
I took a closer look and noticed that his jawline looks a bit wonky. Too square near the bottom. His shoulders are also incredibly broad. That's nothing a quick glance at mirror or photo can't fix.
And as for the hands, it looks to me like you try to just draw them straight off. Use some basic shapes for the palms and fingers. There should be some tutorials on here that can explain it better than I could.

That's a common problem lots of artists have. This piece could have looked a lot better if your interest levels has stayed high throughout the whole thing.
But I'm gonna go ahead say that you should really never use the burn&dodge tools for anything other than hair, eyes, and water effects.
I meant around the character. And I see what you were trying to go for. But you used waaaaaay too much. You could have cropped this a lot closer to Morgan's body and that would have helped keep him from looking so small in the piece. The black bars look nice, but probably aren't needed.
Okaies... That was way longer than intended! But I hope you found it helpful if only a little bit. Oh and by the way, if you felt like critiquing any of my art, go right ahead X3

That's pretty epic.
Nice style transition. The texturing of the coat was a brilliant idea. Though, the boots should be a a bit more realistic to match the rest of it.

No, the coat texturing was great. It was just that the boots were still in that cartoon style, it lacked the realism of the rest of the drawing (The pants too, unless they're leather. Then you're fine).
