Zanzibar [link] meeting his first daughter Bow [link]

After being shown by the Kenwick Equine Centre, Zanzibar was brought back to their facility to rest before being transported back home. In his days there, he was made known that a young filly there was his child, of whom he had not met before. Any time he was in turnout, his little grey filly was right alongside him, playing and exited. The young stallion never seemed to mind the hairs she nipped out of his mane or the constant energy she had. He would just follow along protectively.
On the day Zan was to be returned to MFS, he was turned out on last time with his beloved filly for a few minutes while the trailer was fetched. He recognized the shipping boots strapped to his legs and clung close to the young horse, saying his silent goodbyes and well wishes to his daughter. When staff members pulled up with the trailer, they saw a rare site. Bow was standing stock still, strangely enough, her head pressed against her father's. Neither horse moved. They simply stood, seeming to be part of the scenery in a picture of black and white.
