HAHAHAHAH! omg. this fan art is hallarious. O_o i did the most random coloring ever! they still turned out ok tho. lol. i dont know what i was trying, but i wanted to try a different art style. it took forever to fix some minor error on the orignal line art. I know the cross is crappy, but you can ignore that. ^_^~Spoilers below? i guess. o_o~
This art was suppose to represent who die first in death note, but yeah...we all know now... that L dies. well Light dies more uglier than L. I actually felt disgust when Light died. T_T shame shame....

Ah, the second anime piece. I'm not a great fan of anime in general, so you'll have to bear in mind. I've neither herd of this anime, nor am I interested. However, it is without doubt that this piece really stands out for the excellent texture work. I've not seen anything like this applied to anime, and I think it's great, especially the black jacket and jeans.
This is really creative with textures. You've got a bit of a clash with the black jeans the socks, in this instance I would alter the colour on the socks to make them grey.
There's a little too much red in the skin tones IMO, I would suggest being more subtle there, when shading don't increase the saturation when making darker colours - decrease it!
The light pattenation over the white shirt is cool. Truely original stuff, keep up the great work!
