People have been asking if Beast have been cleaning up his appearance for Belle’s sake lately, And now it’s canon. I am going to miss drawing him all scruffy. I was just getting a grip on how to do that satisfactorily. Oh well!
Belle is staying in the Bête household while her father is on business trips. He is often on business trips... or possible lost on business trips
Edit! I changed the size of the text a little so people would read it more like I had intended it to be read.
Some were just harping on Belle for being rude to Beast, when He was meant to be the one rude to Mrs Pots to begin with.
And what would Belle care about looks? Honestly people? She admits he looks nicer now but, she is Belle for crying out load. Personality all the way.

Oh Adam...you have the right idea, but it's your personality dude. Belle doesn't care too much about appearances. She liked you scruffy and nice, just imagine once you're cleaned up AND nice.
Ooooooooooooooooo I can't wait to start seeing her interactions with Gaston. If she doesn't let Adam get away with this crap, she's going to verbally rip Gaston into shreds! Or...give him the cold shoulder like in the movie. I'm happy with both!! Perhaps another reason Belle is harsh with Adam because she knows he can be better, which is why she's annoyed when he acts beastly. That's just me rambling. So many ways this plot could go, and I can't wait!

I still love what you're doing with the BatB story, especially with Belle's character. It's not as simple as one big event and from there it's a clean road towards love. There's so much more to their relationship AND their separate characters. Quite an achievement, I'd say

I'm not excited, I have not liked any of the other live action remakes, though I haven't seen jungle book yet.
Malificent and CIndrella really didn't agree with me so I am poised to be let down again.
They are always pretty, they just lack in direction, motivation before action, consistency and most defiantly smooth segways between scenes.
Always lots of talents in the actors, and the scenes and wardrobe are so very beautiful, cinematography is real pretty.
I feel a lack of substance though.

junglebook was nice, though the songs were forced... other than that I really enjoyed that one. I see why you didn't like maleficent, missed opportunity for a great origin story right there. Haven't gotten around to seeing Cinderella yet so I'll have to come back to you on that one some other time. I really hope they do it right because Beauty and the beast it's my favorite. Almost everything I saw so far kind off looks like they've just shoved the entire movie trough the well of Enchanted. I just hope I'll still think that in March. But I get that you're trying to go in not expecting too much. I should probably follow your example but like I said beauty and the beast is my favorite so I'm pumped to experience it all over again.

Oh, Belle, be a tad more understanding. He's embarrassed. Thus, you call him out on that embarrassment and tell him to learn to take a compliment graciously... or just don't say anything at all.

Yeah, but character-wise, Belle always was shown being polite even to those who were annoying. Like when it came to Gaston in the movie: despite his patronizing and inability to understand how she could read a book with no pictures, she was still level-headed about it. Even after he tossed her book into the mud she was still civil. Though she did stick in that "positively primeval", it was somewhat teasing, though insulting.
Then there is the set up... it has already shown her developing sympathy and fondness for Adam in this. So, with this scene, I could definitely see her calling him out, but in a more "subtle" way. Like:
"Oh, quit trying to hide your embarrassment by being a brat and learn to take a complement like a man." teasing, somewhat cocky smile.
Adam looks nearly like a tomato. Flustered, a bit perturbed, but just mainly more embarrassed. Alone with Mrs. Potts he looks at her incredibly awkwardly and then grumbles out almost inaudibly, "Uh... thanks." Then hightails out of there before he turns blue.

MARVELOUS work on the scene up above! You really put a lot of care into creating the mansion and the details you put into the front lawn. (My hand just faintly aches at the thought of drawing those tiny things. But it IS those tiny things that brings the world the characters live in to life.)
*now imagining how Meg and Kida react to him, hahahaha*
