Oh Gaston, you must truly care for each and every individual flower,
as you go after them all, one by one, on the same day... *unimpressed look, sarcasm filled voice*
People have been asking me for a fair long while now when Gaston is going show an interest in Belle. And I had been thinking about it but, in the context of the AU Gaston falling for Belle made no sense. He’s a shallow brute who, in their movie, only wanted belle ‘cuz she was “the prettiest” and therefore ”the best” in the village in his opinion.
Belle wouldn’t be “the best” in this AU according to the greatly shallow ass-hat that is Gaston. There are so many prettier and richer and more popular girls than Belle.
I had to have a little think about it.

Jeez. Adam is not going to like this, he just got it in his head that she's just friends with milo. Hopefully he'll be smart enough to know gaston's not a "threat".

Gaston might not have a chance at dating Belle but Adam wouldn't be entirely wrong to feel angry when Gaston goes after her in his typical Gaston way. Just like Herc was not pleased to see how his fellow Jock was treating Meg. And Belle might be as confident and assertive she's not as eh... hands on in her approach as our beloved Greek power girl. Gaston will also take her by surprise, she'll be confused and therefore perhaps already start with a disadvantage.
She might need Adam to step in. Not because she's weak, but because Gaston is an asshole who seems to be tired of taking no for an answer.
At least that's how I see it going down. Of course it could be that Morloth makes Gaston the tool to send Adam in a state of depression, tricking him into thinking Belle has chosen the actual ass over the guy with some self-esteem issues. We'll see how it goes.

Alright!!! New chapter!!!! Where shall I start?
Frame one: Gaston's confidence is actually kind of funny to be honest.
And that shirt! I can just imagine him standing in front of his big ass mirror at home admiring himself while picking it out.
No way did he just put on whatever for today. (of course in his mind he could wear a potato sack and be all the hotter for it but still)
Poor Elsa. She looks so done for this week.
I wonder if she's having trouble with Anna about her boyfriend or if she's just tired of trying to be civil towards him and therefore has no energy left to spent on patience with idiotic buffoons like Gaston.
But following his logic I kind of get why he went with Elsa first. She's super cool (pun not intended) most likely ridiculously rich, and yeah those long mountain climbing expeditions would keep her fit.
Frame two: The way you draw Jasmin she always looks (to me at least) like she just got back from a magic carpet ride. In her clothing and the way she holds herself I mean.
And I feel sorry for her. First she constantly had to clarify her single status causing her to almost miss out on an actual bf. Now that she has him she still can't catch a break.
Frame 3: I love Tia's sense of humor in this situation (and imagining that gorgeous new orleans accent just gives me shivers).
I love how you took into account the fact that she is pretty hard working AND super confident and comfortable in her own skin
(in her words and body language).
She knows she can do better than Gaston. She knows she's far out of his league. And the fact that he isn't aware of this doesn't insult her it's just funny. Like watching a toddler explaining stuff completely wrong but with such confidence it's kind of adorable.
That frame gave me a nice idea for how Naveen and Tia would get together in this one thought. It just made me want to see how the suave exchange student would get into trouble and be sentenced to helping the class president with one thing or another (volunteering to make soup for the local homeless shelter) and he'd try to flirt his way out of work but be flabbergasted at the fact that she doesn't put up with him and to top it of that she doesn't even seem a little phased by his advances (despite the fact that they are partly genuine)... sorry getting of topic. You're triggering my writing nerves.
Frame 4: That shirt!!!!!
I love how you make Merida totally rock the tomboy look. It suits her.
It does make me wonder why he went for her thought... Sure she's pretty and fit. But Gaston doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd put up with the wild and childlike personality that goes with Merida, not to mention the fact that he might not be able to look past the boyish attitude to see her beauty ... Now I think of it, he might not go for Tia either since she's to accomplished, his ego wouldn't be able to handle that... Then again said ego may take up parts of his brain that would otherwise analyse the potential risks of certain choices.
Frame 5: Meg is always awesome. Just wanted to put that out there. (PS looks like she's talking to someone Herc or Adam?)
Frame 6: (Really happy with where this is going) I would warn you Gaston but... Go for it. I really want to see what you're going to do.
Belle seems happy and at peace... Well of course she is, things are looking up. Adam is behaving good lately, she probably got a good grade for that project. She has good hopes for the whole Ariel and Eric thing maybe finally getting resolved some day soon. Why wouldn't she be happy?
Just imagining Bell wandering down the hall kind of daydreaming. Then suddenly a loud sound her way is blocked by...
"Gaston?" She's confused, that jock usually leaves her and the other "nerds" as he would call them alone. What was he doing?

Annyhow...
Over all remarks: I've seen others remark the t-shirt. But what I liked is how he puts more distance between himself and his erh... price?... after each rejection. Not only that but his body language closes up and his expression gets more aggressive. Probably the same goes for his way of speaking to them. Which doesn't mean anything good for Belle... Or gaston himself for that matter.
I loved the art as usual. Most of the time i half expect them to start moving. Well done. Looking forward to next time.

I can't believe you broke down each frame
Gaston never thinks of sensible reasons to who he choices, not personality or common interests... just beauty, popularity, money, being fit and it also seems he likes a bit of attitude, a challenge i guess.
Tia isn't rich but she is influential and would OF COURSE be under Gaston's power and do his wishes when she is his... *pukes*
Merida, is a pretty, rich, fit and quite the prize
I have to admit, merida is a bit of self indulgence, she was a funny and I am weak, But he did look at her in the build up strip to this one
Belle is having a good time. I am going to ruin it now by throwing Gaston in her way. I am evil

She is, but she's also awesome and lethal he dodged a literal bullet there she might have jumped him (not in that way get your mind out of the gutter!) like Meg did if he hadn't caused her to get sick. Or perhaps she's trying to behave a little because she promised her mom she wouldn't get into any more fights at school.
I'm glad you kept her in she's hilarious and I can't see enough of the characters in this school.

I think you're pretty spot on. Of course Merida's an heiress, so I think he'd be willing to look past any minor physical attributes. Plus, I don't think I've seen them interact before, so he could be unaware of her personality. Tia, though...
