Cute. I love the leaf veins. How was this made?

Thank You,Oskar,
This was indeed my first 3D work with veined leaves.
I been thinking about how to model leaf veins for quite long
time until i found a solution.
If you are familiar with the modeling tools of Blender, I maybe
can tell You how to do this. The process was nicely procedural and
without much fiddling around.
Maybe there are similar ways with other 3D applications.

I tried Blender a couple of years ago and I hated it but I can see from what people are producing that it must have gotten easier to use. I'd love to know more.

Same to me ,i had several frustrating and resultless attempts
to get into blender, as its user interface is so different to any other
3D application i tried before and any other thing than intuitive
to understand at the first glance.
With becoming more professional in 3D graphics i had to decide to
either spend a for me huge amount of money for an appropriate 3D
solution or to give blender another try. So i done the last on a
hard trial-and error ride, but now i donΒ΄t want to miss it anymore.
I work with version 2.65

I choose the path of paying quite much for a half-appropriate Cararra. I always want to change but now I know the program so well that it feels like a big step and that I'd loose so much productivity for a while.
