Magnificent. The concept of trilobite jewelry is wonderful in itself, but your execution is flawless.

Hey,thank You that You like it -
and,WhatΒ΄s that moaning about "wish" and
" cannot " and "poor " ?
YouΒ΄re still young !
I started when I was 20 years old, with some old rasps
and pliers from my fathers toolbox and some copper sheet.Anything else, like better tools and more precious materials, just came with the years.
Anyway, most important is to follow Your joy and destination, whatever it may be.

All of your beautiful trilobites make me want to go reread Stephen Jay Gould's Wonderful Life.
And imagine what I might hide inside them.

just wondering if you ever visit the u.s. at all? there is a place in utah where you can dig up your own trilobites. i got about 30 of them in 2 hours. they do make really cool forms for jewelry

I never been in the u.s. Just heard about that there are
quite good areas to collect trilobites. I found one on
the beach in my hometown.
Thank You for the fave,by the way !

Beautiful as always! The blue-green of the stones complements the bronze perfectly.

Beautiful detail and workmanship! Love the intense sea-green of the chrysoprase. It goes well with the warm bronze tones

Thank You for the fave !
The reason for the two chrysoprase settings was
initially a pragmatical, for covering two holes in the incomplete bronze cast.

Wie war das noch? Aus einem Fehler eine Tugend machen...?

That is just amazing. I thought it was a scarab, too, at first glance. Anyway, amazing work!

Most of the accuracy work on this piece nature has done for me : The trilobite casting model is taken from an original one ;
but anyway,thank You !

Yes,somehow trilobites remind to scarabs,although
they are really different anatomically.
