Description
Personally I had a lot of problems during planet creating process and I have some of them also now. I wanted to show you how I create simply planets. Check it out.

short description:
firstly : Your planet size should be at least 2,5 times bigger than size of planet from this tutorial. Why? You'll never know how hudge planet you'll need and ofcourse bigger size gives you better quality.
secondary: Look at layer numbers, focus on them.
1st layer: Just black circle simbolizes planet size.
2nd layer: I've just wanted to see how will it look later.
3rd layer: Made earlier high resolution texture and applied two times distort - > spherize filter on it.
4th layer: filter stylize -> emboss (one time with color range set to highlights 45 degrees, second time with color range on shadows -135 degrees)
after those 4 layers till layer named "layer 1" -> colouring layers (check out their blending mode and opacity, try experiment)
atmosfera (atmosphere) -> check out blending mode, this layer is just duplicated "base" layer
cień (shadow) -> duplicated "base" layer with applied 100px gaussian blur. Than transformed to fit.

Some goodies about final (not tutorial) version:

in tutorial: 1000 x 1000 px
original: 6500 x 6500 px
72 layers ( tutorial includes 6 of them)
time: about 4h (but you really can make it in about 2 hours, i was making a lot of things at once)

krótki opis:
po1 ! Planetę oną róbcie w rozdzielczosci kilkukrotnie wiekszej niz w tutcie jest zawarta, musiałem zmniejszyc bo psd zajmował by 200 mb. Dlaczego taka duza rozdzielczosc? liczy sie jakość.
po 2 ! sugerujcie sie numerkami przy warstwach !!!! robcie po kolei od 1 do 60.
1 warstwa: po prostu czarne koło ktore symbolizuje rozmiar planety
2 warstwa: tak tylko dla efektu, chcialem zobaczyć jak to będzie wyglądać mniej więcej.
3 warstwa: wrzesniej w high res przygotowana textura, nałożony podwójny filtr distor -> spherize na 100 %
4 warstwa: filter -> stylize emboss (raz z color range na highlights, raz na shadows)
jadąc od dołu aż do layer 1 -> warstwy kolorowania textury
atmosfera -> zobaczcie blending options (opcje mieszania) jest to zduplikowana warstwa "base"
cień -> duplikat "base" i na to nałożony gausian blurr 100 px. potem transform tego aby było ładne.

a takie ciekawostki jeszcze:
waga PSD (niezmniejszone do tutka) : 160 mb
rozmiar: 6500 x 6500 px
72 warstwy
około 4h czas pracy (ale liczcie to bardzo luźno, zrobił bym to w troche mniej niż 2h)
