It seems to me that these two being a couple is the only reason Hook hasn't killed Smee for all the bungling he's done, while he'll kill a man for singing or bumping his chair. As for WHY he likes Smee...who can say? I'm not doubting the man's taste, because Smee is adorable, but again I refer to the bungling...

Yyyeahhh, but it's just so glaring. Some movies can hand-wave these things cleverly, or have such other good stuff that you don't care...but they didn't even try. It's glaring and distracting. I had similar issues with Rise of the Guardians, but that's another rant altogether.

That's probably what's so great about Lilo & Stitch: They go where other films fear to tread. Haha, true. But hey, Pleakley is like, my favorite alien character ever!
There's a trope about that. Bloodless Carnage, maybe? It's all about how shows, especially kid's shows, use substitutes (usually robots) in place of people to get implied gore into the story. Sometimes they use Symbolic Blood, too (oil, water, paint), if they want to take it a step further. Samurai Jack is like, the crowning example trope, since he's constantly hacking his way through robot minions. Constantly!

- there's this purple goo stuff that melts in water

Ok. And yeah, Xiaolin Chronicles is a re-boot of Xiaolin Showdown. The creator "got a few more ideas" after the show had been over for a few years, and the preview just came out. They change the names of the wu, the art looks totally different, they now use CGI and wear Tron suits during the showdowns, Dojo is YELLOW, there's going to be another Dragon Warrior despite this being impossible, not to mention he'll be an Omi clone...AND THE VOICES ARE TERRIBLE! Tara Strong still does Omi...ok; but she's ALSO doing JACK! With her Ben 10 voice! They couldn't get Danny Cooksey back, or at LEAST Dante Basco?!

Yes, of course. It's from an episode. = ) And that's the LEAST of what they get past. That's why I love PPG! They use real guns, are allowed to burst through eyeballs and tear through monsters because their insides aren't red (and they aren't human), and a surprising number of citizens DIE via smashing/demolition/disaster/ingestion. "Uh-Oh, Dynamo" is a perfect example.

I'm mostly like that, but I can't force myself to watch SOME things, like Adventure Time or similar. That's when I just turn it off and sit there with my thoughts/draw/whatever.

I USED to watch Bones until it came on at the same time as Criminal Minds... Or Castle... You watch NCIS? That's a little like Criminal Minds... Also LOVE the Mentalist. True, but that's because Family Guy IS an adult show that takes refuge in raunch and audacity when they can't think of anything clever. Regular Show's forced to be clever(or just stupid) because it's for a younger audience. Oh, you mean Muscle Man and Pops? Yeah, I hate Muscle Man, but Pops is the one I find most tolerable. He's nice.
Actually, The Simpsons hasn't changed its format as much as people think. It's actually just as waveringly good as it always has been. People just think that shows that have been on a long time automatically get worse, and I'll admit I thought it was going, too, until I watched all of the season in a row. Then I'm like, "wow, all that's really changed is the opening...which is way too cluttered now".
I don't know; because pizza is awesome? Or they've included subliminal pizza commercials in those shows...hmm.

Well, I mostly love person of interest because it's SO slashy... (SPOILER AHEAD IF YOU DO WATCH IT) I mean they're not actually together but having a guy behind a computer, wno never shows emotion - rush out and endanger his own life to protect a man who's been shot, having him hold the guy and death-glare at the woman after the guy, even though it now means she knows he's involved, and then going to one of the top surgens and dumping a whole bag of money just to save him (this is the guy who never shows his face right) is pretty adorably slashy material... to me anyway XD
I know it is, but they used to be so... well, classy, for lack of a better word. But now, I mean it's just plain gory and stupid

They de-railed what little quality they had THAT quickly? Wow. Ok, I agree that his voice can wear pretty thin eventually, but it's that way with ALL of the characters for me, really. I don't like ONE of their voices enough to think "oh yeah, I could listen to that for a while". It's all just "ok, you can get through this..."

Tricky thing about Ralph/Felix. They have VERY little interaction time in the movie, but what they do have is chemistry central. However, Calhoun is dang near impossible to write out of this equation, because she was MUCH more developed and MUCH more natural a female interest than nearly any other. She also kinda wins irrefutably, ship-wise. In short, I love the slashy idea and I love to look at Ralph/Felix art, but my brain is still shorting out over my own personal headcanon. I don't know what to think. = (
I also ship King Candy and Sour Bill (but again, am having some trouble sorting it out because King Candy has certain...complications as well; sucks, too, because I love him).
