This is a thanks to God for all the times he has pulled me out of the darkness that is both in the world around me and my own mind.

I struggled a lot when I entered college, because I was isolated. My family and friends were at home, I was rather bad at approaching people and I had drifted away from God. I will not go into much right now but it got pretty bad.

But every time I fell into the dark God pulled me out, even when I wasn't entirely sure if I trusted him. He gave me new friends, an awesome church family and my Mom drove 5 hours just to see me because she felt I needed to talk. I even had some random Christian strangers help me when I was sinking into depression.

So I guess what I have learned is. Ask for help, both from God and the people around you. You are NOT alone. God loves you. He may not take away your struggles, but he will always provide a way for you to stand up under them.
