(I know, I know... I should be having a break from posting here. I actually drew this pic back on the 13th... the day before the terrible loss happened. It's somehow 4am, and on advice of a friend, I should show this. Maybe this will help me feel better along the way. Anyway...)Some of you may recognise this lovely lady in Super Mario Maker's manual as Mary. O, or Mashiko. I really hope it's the latter, if only to make the appropriate pun as this title! (I'd guess it is. Down under, we get the PAL versions, so it might be Mashiko anyway).
Anyway, I saw her in a video showing the manual just after the game released, I was inspired, and quickly tossed this up on that day. Helpful as always, isn't she?

This is great! I just adore Mashiko because I have a total thing for women who don't exhibit much emotion (like secretaries, news reporters) and I can imagine Mashiko sitting at her desk like this all casual 😊 Well done

I wanted to wait on commenting on this one. I can't be certain, but I believe this is the possibly the second or so drawing I've seen from you with a nylon-clad pair of feet. You do a fantastic job with it, and I do love the added touch of her cradling her rather large heel. I'm happy to see drawing is helping you along.

My very first thought when I found out that this character exists was "MostlyFunStuff is totally going to draw her."
I even went and checked. It wasn't up yet at the time, but I knew it wouldn't be long.

In spite of the timing for this piece, I think this is yet another exceptional piece. Definitely another one of the most obscure women out there in pop media!
Love the attention you gave on her nylons, and of course that toe ring! But I also have to give props to her overall appearance in your style, and the gaming graphics you always put in video game character pics like this.

Not much on the mario Maker (I would say just please stop making 2D's until you can well...MAKE them, and not the community who only makes levels for the top .001% of Mario players), but well, damn! This is damned impressive!
Honestly, I'd pretty much get Mario Maker only if I knew i can have good levels that, while challenging, are actually remotely beatable. I tend to have a strong gravity against user created games, but that's not why I'm here.

Mario Maker forces you to beat your level from start to finish when you tap the upload icon. Granted, you can still make insanely difficult levels, but you have to endure them yourself first before the upload begins.

Yeah, but we all know that people are still going to upload difficult levels or insanely bland ones. I suppose my weird theory was if Nintendo itself can't even make good 2D Mario levels, why should some dude in Wyoming be able to?
But ehh...I may pick it up as a Christmas thing. If anything, though, Nintendo's obnoxious marketing scheme turns me off their games more than anything. Whatever happened to trickling information as opposed to releasing a laughable trailer at E3 and then at 4:47 the day before release building a ridiculous hype train?

considering it's the PAL version, you'd think the game's frame rate would be slightly lowered due to your old TVs having a different framerate from the rest of the world to replicate the speed of the first three games
