Another edit; Hello to the people over at Tiny Cartridge (I love your site!), who somehow found this, but then again, I should have known - darn keywords! Anyway, like I said, I don't know whether to be embarrassed or flattered...Another of my 3DS Image Series! Remember, as always, you'll have to download the RAR, extract with WinRAR, and place it on your SD card for your 3DS. Read "For_First_Timers.txt" if this is your first time.
Anyway, this is a rather interesting case... For those who recognize the title of this deviation (SwapNote in the US, and Letter Box in Europe), I'm sure you'll know who Nikki is! When a friend and myself were messing about with that application, we noted how cute she was, and just as quickly, I got to work on this! And fitting with this whole thing, it can be viewed on your 3DS.
Hmm, I wonder who's sending her letters? Friends? ...Admirers?

Nikki is one of my favorite Nintendo characters.
Too bad that some people misused Swapnote's Spotpass service and it was disabled, but at least she has made some cameos in other Nintendo videogames, got her own game, and even will appear in Shantae: ½ Genie-Hero!

Well, there's a specific folder on the SD card that's for 3DS photos, and this one takes a very small amount of space (100 or more kb). I put a text file with instructions in case you need help. Ah, for 3DS Friend Codes, we just have to exchange codes. Send me a note when you find your 3DS Friend Code, and I'll send you mine.

what I'm doing is using drawing the picture in layers on Photoshop and then taking the layers to Toon Boom and move the layers close to and away from the camera where needed and taking a screenshot from one angle and then another slightly to the side to try to give it the illusion of depth.
My first try had "meh" results, still playing around with it until I get the depth just right.

Yeah, the photoshop tutorial had me scratching my head... hence why I opted with my alternate method to see if that's any easier. I'm sure I'll get it right sometime soon.
