Description
we stand tallSo i have alot of exterior/city shots to submit. yup thats right, went off in a different direction yesterday so i have lots of results im happy with.
This is an old complex located downtown in my city. I walked by and looked, kept walking a bit, than i back tracked and took a look and was very surprised it was still standing. Tattered and Torn it still stands and people still live in it. I also really like the design on the outside, the stairs, the windows. Im just really happy with this shot.
now im babbling about why i like it, thats not the point...do you like it what do you like about it ? or if you dont tell me what you dont like...
blah thanks for watching....

Architectual photography is a completely other type of beautiful. I've always been in awe of photographs of buildings that bring out something gorgeous in something that can seem so ordinary. This is no exception. I love what you've done with this. Photographing structure can seem so mundane, but you've created something so very pretty, for a lack of a better word. And old buildings always tell an amazing story.
A great capture. I love the varying degrees of darkness in regards to the colour, and the sky is a great addition to the piece. Kind of finishes it in a way I can't really explain.

hehe thanks it was taken in black and white because for osme reason i only get intense cloudage when working with B/W and a RED Tone for it. So i switched it to color corrected the balance and did some minor curvature and viola
im so glad you like it thanks Laura <3

Do you ever use channel mixer to get intense b&w? I find it works way better than any other meathod, and shooting in black and white digitally is dangerous because so much information is lost right in the get-go.

oh really ?.....hmm...yah i guess..well the reason i shot in black and white cause if I shoot normal in color i dont get intense clouds but i use the black and white to give me intense clouds and i change it to color in my RAW Editor and the clouds stay the same just colore d

I find this very calming to look at, but then again the clouds are quite intense.
I love the colour of the building.. Seems very surreal, and the sky helps with just that.
As allready commented on.. I love the window reflections..
Great shot really.

I like it, it looks like one of those "Peter Parker" superhero houses that lives in the rundown place. I dont know if you see where I'm getting at? well also the reflection of the sky on the window I love, and the colors, theres something you always do with your pictures that I absolutely love the colors. They are not too bold or strong they just seem to be just right.
