Doe, a deer a female deer- Wait. No. Doe, is your average adolescent puma. Standing at the waist of a dreaded human, this fun-loving, stick in the mud is the perfect example of its species. She has a rugged musky brown coat and white unders, while her tail consists mostly of white. She has black paws and an almost black muzzle. A few wavering white splotches and dots are place along her spine. Her small stature leaves room for lots of stealth and lots of agility. Doe's most admirable traits is her ability to pounce and climb. You'll often find her up trees or lazing around on a tall boulder or cliff side whenever given the chance. Being up high means she can see everything. She's best suited for guarding positions, and finds great enjoyment in looking over the territory.

Hesitant-
Doe, given her background is a very hesitant feline. Raised to be a prodigy of her parents will, a special , fragile being that had to be protected no matter what... she wasn't exposed to a lot. Half the things she was exposed too in lessons or from distant observation, her parents would engrave the danger of them and keep her far from harm - this has in turn transferred into her anxiety ridden fear of everything being bad. In time she's come to realize the world isnt as bad as her parents said, but risks are never an option. When meeting someone new, Doe is very hesitant and cautious. This also goes for new activities. She may or may not come around too it depending on the situation.
Hard Working-
Honestly, if there's one thing to contradict her worry wart self, its her drive to be the best she can be. If that means letting everyone know, including her now nonexistent parents, that she can do it. She can do anything. Doe gives her all at any task given, and when given the opportunity will show them what she's got. Since escaping the jaws of the hunters who destroyed her home, and joining Stone, she's been given the mental task to not only show her parents shes capable of keeping up, but she can be helpful and useful to her newest family.

Around Friends and Family-
Worrier-
She's what one would call, a worry wart. A frazzled, tense - always on edge worry wart. Doe was taught most of her life, that anything was capable of harm and not to go near it. So naturally, this has passed on into her every day life. If she sees a cub getting to high, or someone pushing boundaries, Doe will automatically calculate the worst outcome possible and fret until that said feline stops whatever they're doing. Sometimes they'll carry on and this more than likely will leave her holding her breath and being proved wrong.
Smart-
Doe is of a higher intelligence than one might think. Not only was she pretty much quarantined, but had many private lessons & lots of time to sit and think about everything that went around. She enjoys making up extravagant plans, and theories to be used in useful or, not so useful situations. Anything can range from raid strategies, to why are ladybugs red?
Trust Worthy-
Her background doesn't give much reason to trust her, but it also gives every reason as to why you should. She didn’t have too much as far as friends went, so she’s fairly grateful for everything given now. It’s fairly safe to say, once befriended - she’ll stick with you till the end. To add on to that, she’s forever in debt to her new home and strives to do what she can to prove her worth. They saved her after all.
Observant-
Where will you find this curious Cougar most days? Why- no where else but UP. And I mean that quite literally. Doe, for being a full blooded Puma, naturally has always had a love for heights and all to come from them, most importantly the view. Being able to see everything in sight gave the female great security as well as peace. She’s not so much nosey, but in need of being all seeing - to know things are okay is the one thing that calms her the most.

The one mistake she made, was one she’d never make again. And ever since the day her parents left her side, that shock never left. The paranoia of something getting her, or something getting someone or something she cared about, left her tense pretty much all the time. She's spooked fairly easily and gets frazzled often.

Background

It all started in the wilds of noones land. Her parents believed strongly in life in all creatures, and that everything served a purpose. Even when hunting, every part of the kill was used. All things had a purpose, and nothing should be wasted. Another strong part of her life growing up were the renown ‘omens’. The 'Omens' of reincarnation were always things they should look out for, Doe was told. Omens were a vital part of the world because it gave messages of benevolence or malevolence to come. If one was shown an Omen of Good, it meant that the individual was an important one, and would be extraordinary. A good omen was something they sought after strongly.

So when the mountain lions saw a lone doe on a cool winter night, they truly felt blessed. The season had been a hard one, and despite her pregnancy, the mother could be easily seen as frail. Hunting the deer, they caught it, and the couple filled their bellies. And a little while later that night, Doe was born. Seeing her striking resemblance to the prey they’d just consumed, the pair knew she was an Omen, and named her as such.

Because of their devotion to their ways, Doe was cherished in a way many cubs were not. She was protected constantly, even in situations where it wasn’t required. When trying to cross a stream she’d be carried over. As she got older, they wouldn’t let her hunt out of fear of her being injured. Doe grew antsy, angry. She never was alone. They were always over her shoulder, always coddling and not letting her truly grow up.

One day she did it. She escaped their sight and ran into the forest. She heard them calling, but ignored it. Finally she was free. She could do what she wanted, at least for a little while. She planned on going back home later, and receiving whatever scolding she would get. But it’d be worth it. So she thought.

On the way home later that day, Doe heard a cry. One that sounded all too familiar. A panic rising in her chest, she ran towards the sound. Coming to a clearing, she saw her parents. Claws flashing. She saw two more cats, a red tiger and a dark cheetah. Cats she’d never seen before. Hidden in the brush she watched with wide eyes. But it wasn’t long before her beloved parents were subdued, and dragged away. At first frozen in fear, she turned and ran. She ran for what felt like days.

Collapsing on a beach she woke up later to a paw prodding her. Still shaken from the events that took place, she shakily accepted the cat’s offer to stay in their camp. Reaching it she realized they didn’t live alone. Introduced to what was called ‘Stone Empire’, she told her story, and the gritty details were explained. Her parents had been captured, or killed, by hunters. These cats came from the city of Massilia, where they were caged or sent to the pits to die. Heart pounding in her ears, Doe asked if anything was to be done about them. And the response was a grin and nod.

“Welcome to Stone Empire.”
