yes, nature is crack.taken with a fisheye, cropped the shot to get that horizon off center... damn comp rules.

This makes a perfect b/w shot. The levels are just right and you where right to crop the shot, gives a little more interest to the photo. Is the reflection naturally that strong, or did you photoshop it in?

fisheye?? serious?? for landscapes? wow...well...i wouldn't have noticed looks good! you have a nice curves adjustment there to give it a lot of contrast, and it looks good. it doesn't look overdone like some major contrast adjustments do

I think that the horizon in center with the reflexion would make a better composition... I don't Know if symetrical composition is better than the rule of the third... anyway this is an awecome b&W shot !!

thanks! the sky was oddly less dramatic with center comp.... but it was a close call as to whether to crop or not. oh well

Crops some more.. the tree to the left at the edge of the shot adds nothing and gets in the way imo... GR8 work tho. going to post a fully symetrical one to see if the photo police get you?
