Syfindyer (Sif-end-er) are a FREE species made by me,
This is a ref sheet for them so you all can make them.
The one in the middle is my Syfindyer OC, Cloud Kicker. A link to her will be posted at the bottom.

Syfindyer Species (Featuring: Cloud Kicker)

FUN FACT:
From their language to ours the word "Syfindyer" means "Sky Changers" or "Sky Creatures".

When you Make a Syfindyer...

Head Tail Feathers: Instead of a mane or tail, Syfindyer have feathers. They HAVE to have at least 2-3 colors in total.*

Feathered Ear Tips: Are MANDATORY and are the same color as the mane feathers.

Fur: Can be any color as long as it's pale. (Light blue, Light green etc.)**

Wings: The most important part of the Syfindyer species. Syfindyer are Sky Changers. They need wings to perform their duties (). Syfindyer that do not posses the ability to fly can still live on clouds, but usually tend to live on land in high places such as mountains or trees.

Stockings: Aren't necessary but I think they look best WITH them.

Paws: Yes. PAWS not HOOVES. >W< Paws can be flat or rounded. When standing on land or cloud Syfindyer stand on the TIPS of their paws. (Think of Lucario if that helps )

Syfindyer Species Information....

Habitat: Syfindyer live in the skies. They make their homes in clouds. ( like MLP:FIM's Cloudsdale kinda. ) However, some prefer (or have) to live on the ground. Usually in mountains or tall trees. They make nests much like a bird's.

Jobs/Talents: Each and every Syfindyer has a specific job related to their talents. This is shown by the charm on their necklaces. Syfindyer have jobs ranging from maintaining the weather to setting up night or morning skies. Their rank is shown by the color of the band.
Central Weather Team (Northern and Southern included) is depicted by a cloud, Western by Lightning Bolt,and Eastern by Wind (...It looks like a swirl...with two other swirls attached.)

Weather Team Ranks

Apprentices:

Rank One - Red
Apprentices are taught the basics of Weather control and help with lesser weather like cloudy skies, showers and sunny days under the eyes of a higher rank assigned to them.

Rank Two - Yellow
This rank of Apprenticeship can now control basic Rank One weather and can move on to more difficult weather like small to medium storms. However while dealing with medium size storms, they need to be under watch of higher rank Syfindyer. During the last stages of Rank Two they will learn survival skills if they're ever stranded during a storm.

Rank 3 - Orange
The final Rank of Apprenticeship in the Weather Team can control Rank 1 and 2 weather. They will now progress to larger storms, tornadoes and hurricanes. Only during these do they need to be under watch of their mentor.

Weather Patrol:
Rank One - White
The title after Rank 3 of Apprenticeship. They will work on cloudy and sunny days, small storms and showers with the others of their group.

Rank Two - Green
Rank Two of the Weather Patrol will work on medium to strong storms as well as Rank 1 Weather with the others of their group.

Rank 3: Leader - Blue
Only a few Syfindyer from rank 2 get promoted to Blue status. They work on all weather and even have their own Weather Team.

Sky Changers:

These Syfindyer change the sky from Dusk to Morning, Morning to Afternoon, Afternoon to Evening, Evening to Dusk and Dusk to Night. ( Didn't have to say all that) Their symbol is a star or sun. (they don't put the moon or sun up XD)

Dusk Changers - Gold
They change the Night to Morning and put the colors of Sunrises in the skies.

Twilight Changers - Purple
They change Evening to Night and put the Sunset colors in the skies.

Star Bringers: Dark Blue
They put stars in the skies as well as the colors.

(Will add more jobs and so on when I figure them out... )

Diet: Syfindyer are vegetarians. They'll eat hay, grass flowers and all that good stuff, but they also get their energy from the Sun, Moon and Dying Stars.***

Male Female Differences:

Male Syfindyer are taller by a foot. Females can reach a maximum height of 3 ft 6 while Male Syfindyer can reach up to 4 ft 6

Male Syfindyer have bigger paws, thicker bodies (MUSCLE. NOT FAT. O^o), and are usually darker than females Their wings also tend to be larger, but that's mainly due to size then gender.

* Cloud Kicker's feathers were colored long before those rules were made up. And I have no intention of changing them.
** White Black and Grey don't matter
*** Though far off Dying Stars produce a lot of energy, so I decided to keep it.
