Description
Commission for dragonofbrainstorms of his character Skaoi in a forest.I had lots of fun drawing that background. Normally I have lots of trouble getting forests right but it wasn't so bad this time around, just time consuming if anything.
Hope you like!

I love how that background came out so I'm glad people like it! I'm terrible at backgrounds so every little compliment means so much to me. C,:
Ohhhh? What's this? You have dragon characters??

Yeeeeppp I have quite the handful of them, actually. Let's seeee... -counts- at least around 15?? If I'm counting the halfies and all my universes. (Most of my dragons are the shifter-type so that means you can get the halfies not all of whom can shift so IDK about counting those myeh) One of them in particular is actually closely related to Keiro! She's the Wind God's daughter, to be specific. c:
I like dragons. .o. Actually that is an atrocious understatement I love dragons with a burning passion and would draw them all the time if I was better at them. Some of them it's been a long while since I've so much as touched them but they're still there and I still like them!! Just gotta find a place for them again.
...now I wanna draw dragons. Hm.

Wind god daughter dragon? Now that sounds pretty dang awesome. What does she look like if you don't mind me asking?
I would most certainly love to see these dragon characters of yours because judging by the characters I already know of, I can just feel that they'll be awesome! And add those juicy back stories to the mix mmyes. <3

This is brilliant. The complexity of the detail in the background is superb. It gives an almost ghostly, ethereal appearance with the colour scheme and the twisted trees and the pretty little floating lights.
Mostly, I love the colours you have used and the gorgeous background. But I do also really like the expression you've given the character. I can almost feel it's personality.
Overall, impressive! Must have taken a lot of effort. Well done c:Β

Thank you so very much for a very detailed comment. I always appreciate comments like these.
The colour scheme was a very important aspect of the background, and needed to help the character look as if it belonged in the forest, but at the same time differentiation between character and background was incredibly important. I hope I successfully combined the two together into the one artwork.
Again, thank you for the comment!
