Description
Part of a project for school. I decided to explore my "Jellyfish Dragon" creation more, and develop his story into a picture book. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I'm only able to produce one of the illustrations for my little book. Ah well.Anyways, the plan for the story was basically how Jellyfish Dragon is the only one of his kind left, and guards the coral reef alone. That is, until he meets his friend Jellyfish (It's meant to be a children's book, okay? It's supposed to be simple!).

I do understand what you mean, but I gotta say that the way nature works isn't something us humans can control. It's just the way things are. I'd much prefer seeing a lion do what a lion does in nature than working alongside humans. Animals are opportunistic, so if livestock is taken, then that's good for the lion, and bad for the humans. We know what animals are capable of, so we need to change our lifestyles to suit the environment, not change the environment to suit us humans.

I did the water reflection by drawing a bunch of squiggly lines all over the dragon with a fuzzy brush then messing with the opacity and luminosity. c:

Hmm, we don't have year round school then a big block of holidays/vacation (whichever. xD), instead, we have 'terms' which consist of about 8-10 weeks of school, then a 2 week break, then back to school for another 8-10 weeks. But we do get a bit more than a month of Christmas holidays, though. c:
