Animation fanart number 2, this time with Infernape in the pose he was in in that episode where Ash and Infernape faught Paul and Electivire. Infernape goes super saiyan on Electivire's ass. I loved the pose, so I tried to mimic it, but then the background and everything got out of hand and turned into something pretty different overall.
More quick animations, this one only took 5 or 6 hours, I think it includes 14 different frames of hair-fire. Hopefully the time these things take will drop as I get better.

It was excellent. Especially after the buildup of the whole thing with Ash, Paul, and Chimchar/Infernape. One of the best battles the show's had IMO.

I'm very impressed, though this one does look a tad choppy compared to pikachu's Quick Attack. It's just a tad, though. And the bushes on the right light up when his fire goes over it, which doesn't make much sense since it's in the background.
Still, I'm very impressed

Haha thanks! The bushes lighting up is just a weird thing to do with the way the gif is playing the outer glow of the hair, it's not actually meant to be the bushes being hit by the light. Thanks for the heads up, I didnt notice that was happening, though there's not much I can do about it it seems. The whole picture goes kinda speckled as well, not really sure why haha. Youtube seems to do it a little more justice. Thanks again!

The speckled thing has something to with it being a gif file. I've seen it before, so I didn't comment on that, though I don't know what it is or how to remove it. The reason why YouTube shows it right is because those videos are shown with flash.

Did you apply a blurred overlay & lighten layer to this one as well? Because I'm just loving those colours so much, and wonder what they'd look like before that.

Yep. I try to make the colours pretty bright and vibrant right out of the box, so without the layers it looks fine anyway, I just like the extra boost it gets. I might upload a comparison thing in the future
