Pokabu, the fire type starter for Pokemon Black/White. I really don't like these starters, but I'm hoping that by drawing one of them they'll grow on me.
I tried to make him look a little different.
The grass type one is by far the best looking, but I've gone with the fire-type every single time previously, so I'm gonna continue that trend.
And here's hoping for some kind of epic, hardcore, badass evolution line. Please.

I actually really like Pokabu AND his evolutions, and i don't really like the other starters that much.
But, i will say Tepig is a really stupid name. Pokabu was much better.

Love your take on Pokabu!
I didn't like any of the new starters at first, but there's a lot of great art of them around, and they kinda grew on me, especially this one.
I like that you made it more agile, it looks like a fighter now!

Technically speaking, he would be number 497 in the natonal dex and number 4 in the Isshu dex. But he does look good

Awesome, i didn't really like the starters either, but this really makes him look coolio. I drew Pokabu (soon to be released in my deviant) and have liked him much more than i ever previously did. I like the grass one the best

Yeah it's fairly safe to assume it's #497, but before we have confirmation I'm gonna leave it the way it is, just incase we get a suprise or something.

I know it's a very minute detail, but I really like how you added the palette in on the bottom right there. Subtle, but definitely gives a statement of style.

Awesome drawing, and as the numbers stand Mijumaru will be #500 (Considering Arceus is #493, makes the grass starter #494, Pokabu #497).
