Got a recent request to do Bardock and Turles as Super Saiyans, but I figured I'd throw in Raditz too.The lineart and official versions will take a long time. A really long time. And I'm still undecided as to whether or not I'll take these any further. Anyway, here's Version1.

We've seen him before so I decided not to change anything.
SSj:
Seeing as though his power level is pretty huge now, the scouter breaks so he can no longer wear it. His hair becomes more jaggered and sticks out in all directions. Also the tail changes colour.

NOTE: These were drawn really small, so excuse the lack of detail and accuracy in the sketches. I won't bother adding any shading for depth or drama or whatever, it's not really necessary at this stage.

*sigh* Why does everyone think the tail would change color when a saiyan with a tail becomes super? There's no proof of it and if it's on the games that's not really true canon anyway.

Great Super Saiyan design for Raditz. You really do not have to add more details to this; I say it serves its purpose well at this stage; in fact, any extra details would enhance the overall feel of the piece. The expression you chose for Raditz 's Super Saiyan state is perfect, considering the confidence and savage behavior he demonstrated in his battle with Goku and Piccolo.

I'm a fan of Raditz so this really made my day in my opinion this is one of best interpetations of Raditz in super saiyan I've ever seen. His hair is just perfect. It would've been so cool to see him like this in the series, ah well may be they'll give make him a ssj transformation in a videogame one day lol.

As always, you did a good job. I like what you did to SSJ Raditz. Although, as I stated on Turles earlier, the arm muscles need some more refinement as it appears a bit flabby. Ohter than that, nothing more. Awesome job all the way! I look forward to see more from you as always! XD

Yeah i used basically the same body for both of em. I think the hand is digging too far in, and it just doesn't make any sense lol, thanks for commenting

It's good.
Although, the hair resembles more of a SSJ3, a Super Saiyan 1's hair stands up on end... look at Gohan's SSJ1 form when he first becomes a Super Saiyan in the Room of Spirit and Time, even with its length being the same as Raditz', it still follows the same rules.

he is worth one raditz lol. looks awesome dude, id just watch the left bicep, looking a tad deformed, i understand that his arms are folded but it stands out and looks weird, maybe make the glove curve around the fore-arm a bit more. its just me being picky, so take it or leave it, entirely upto you

I did his hand digging too low into his forearm, thats why the bicep looks like its sticking out of nothing lol. The shoulder on that same arm needs fixing too, obviously this will all be attended to when I can actually be bothered doing a second drawing.

Super Saiyan Raditz = EPIC!
I've always been a big-time Raditz fan despite the fact he wasn't in the series very long. I've always loved to see Raditz a Super Saiyan

Nice Work, Yeah Your Right He And Any Other Saiyan To Go SSJ Would Not Have A Scouter On. Not Only Like You Said Because Of A Saiyan's Power Level Is Now Pretty High, But Also Because A Saiyan's Skill And Ability To Read Other Fighters Power Leaves Like Vegeta, Make The Scouter Useless

This looks great too, I think it does look a little like a super saiyan 3 but he has the eyebrows whereas super saiyan 3's don't have eyebrows. I think that's the difference.

Yeah, that's a main feature, if I was to do a ssj3 version then I would do the hair as different as possible though. I'm tepmpted to draw one up just so people know the difference, but that'll probably have to wait for a while.

I said in the comment that I'm pretty sure the scouter would break from a Super Saiyan's power level, so he wouldn't be wearing.
