DETAILS:Created: 9.5.2010
Someone made a suggestion a little while ago for me to draw Base, SSj, SSj2, SSj3 & SSj4 forms of Gotenks. I take suggestions, but make no guarantees, so if you have ideas for me don't be afraid to let me know.

Added SSj4's tail. I always forget it!
EDIT 2:
Revamped SSj4; Made his hair thicker and more wavy, and gave him a smirk similar to one Gogeta would give off. If Vegeta and Goku would get carried away with the amount of power they had, no doubt Gotenks would do the same thing. I don't think we'd see him fight seriously even for a second.

We've seen him before so I decided not to change anything.
SSj:
Again, seen him plenty of times.
SSj2:
We technically don't ever see this, atleast not in a fight. I saw that in the manga there are two panels where Gotenks is transforming he has lightning sparks, just before going SSj3. Not that it really matters. Anyway this was kinda crappy to work with considering the fact that his hair can't change that much. All I did was make him look more serious and stern, and give his hair a sharper look.
SSj3:
I love drawing SSj3's. Nothing new.
SSj4:
This is the one I want most of the opinions on. I used the same colour scheme as Gotenks' fathers when they fuse as SSj4's, because that would seem kinda logical. However the fact that at base form they have the two different hair colours should be something to note. If you care enough let me know what you think about that. I should probably chuck it on youtube, that'd get people talking.

I think it's worth noting, Gogeta only had the red hair because goku and vegeta were powered up before they fused. Had they fused in base form, they'd have had dark brown hair. Actually what happened is the hair and fur color switched so you can go by that to see how Gogeta would have looked. For Gotenks, I'm not convinced that the boys on their own could go ssj4. But definitely fused they could. So imo, I would change the color scheme, but I'm being super nit-picky. The picture looks great.

i always pictured ssj4 gotenks having red and navy blue hair

normal = i am gotenks
ssj = i'm still gotenks but super
ssj 2 = now i'm vegeta
ssj 3 = i am kid goku but with a vest and different pants
ssj 4 = the saiyans i am they we are one but unfortunately for you evil doers...i am the grim reaper of justice...gorilla gotenks.......with a tail...literally somebody hand a shampoo with conditioner for me?...

For the SSJ2, a way to change it would be to put small blade of hair hanging off the front of his head. This is good though!

u could give it some black or purple tips, or the 3 colors but like a patter on the strands. AWESOME by the way, hope it helps

Maybe you could use the body hair color for the areas where his base form had purple.

SS2 - The way you did his hair fits SS2 perfectly, i have wondered why Gotenks never went SS2 though...
SS4 - I think that your idea of him having the same colors as Gogeta is a good one, the hair looks good

Yeah I always wondered that too, and I think it's created this big idea that SSj2 is an irrelevant transformation or something. I guess that goes with the fact that you can hardly tell the difference between ssj1 and 2 with some characters.
Anyway King Vegeta is a pretty cool idea, I'll throw it in the maybe pile. A lot of people seem to like that guy haha

Awesome Mate. Though I'm Not A Fan Of His SSJ4 Form, Color Of His Hair Is Right But It Looks Like A Shorter Cut Of SSJ3. His Hair Should Be Shorter And Thicker Not Thin And He Should Has Bangs Hanging Down Like Goku, Vegeta And Gogeta Have When They Are SSJ4

Yeah, I changed SSj4 a lot, I didn't really think about the personality in the first drawing, I think it makes a lot more sense now

honestly i love it. the hair is great for SSJ4. i just feel the clothing should change a bit for ssj4. the coloring of it.

Yeah I felt that way too, the colour scheme is a tad awkward, but I'm not gonna change the clothes, coz everyone would complain and I wouldnt have much to back it up haha

i agree with dr-monocle, becuase with ssj4 the hair color is usually the normal color of the saiyan. but its ur call either way looks cool

Yeah, that goes for Goku and Vegeta, but when fused it changes for some reason. I don't know why. Anyway the dual-colour idea makes a lot of sense, but I think I'll leave it as is

like the design for SSj4 Gotenks but I'd imagine the long hair would be a bit shorter, more unkempt and less like his Super Sayian 3 hair. Overall I like the design.

I really do love all the designs, and i think the color scheme for ssj4 could work fine, since your logic makes sense basing it on the fathers. However maybe, as someone said, you could make the hair bi-colored, or more of a purple-ish maroon.for some reason i pictured that. Great job anyway ^^.
