This is latest version of the world map for the "Anomalous Earth" project that I first posted here.

This world is a counterpart to our own, a "Mythic Earth" where fantastical elements have bled over into our own history.

This is the political situation of the world as of 2253, as reckoned from the founding of the Eternal City. The great steppe nation of Cathay has fragmented apart, leaving a power vacuum that is slowly being filled by Holy Europa from the west and the clans of Cipangu from the east, with each empire exploring the oceans and claiming far-flung lands for themselves. Magic continues to grow stronger as new demon gates are discovered and exploited by the growing number of witches and warlocks. This has helped humanity not only explore their own homeworld, but also begin to get its first glimpses of the other planets around it. Fabulous tales of sorcerers astral projecting into the dense jungles of Venus have captured the imaginations of many in the West, while more esoteric mystics have started to physically explore the ancient ruins of Mars with the help of the elusive Fungi from Yuggoth, who have started to visit Erthe for unknown purposes. It is an age of exciting new discoveries, despite the gods acting behind the scenes to ensure their creations do not become too advanced. It is also an age of religious strife, as the waves of new lands and technology has helped to add fuel to the Atomic Heresy all across the world.
