Thank you very much! I had the most trouble with the hair, but after my Jimi Hendrix portrait, I think tight curls and stuff are starting to get easier

thank you  i'd say, the challenge would have definitely scared me off a couple of years ago - specifically because of the hair.  but, you know, the more pages of paper with led scratchings i put i way, the less daunting some of these challenges seem

you know, i mapped out some deeper darker areas and shaded that fairly dark.  then i went back and did a fairly loose energy-of-flow sort of thing.  its not the most accurate depiction of curls and locks, but i really like the feel and the result
