She's certainly one of the most tragic characters I've ever seen, and yet, she is also one of the strongest. So many bad things have happened to her, so many people have manipulated her into doing stuff for their own benefit, so many people have failed her... The world has put her against the ground more than once, and she still refuses to stay down. It is impossible for me not to love her.

Much as I love Regina I got to disagree. Most people that do evil things have a reason for why they became like that. Doesn't make them less evil though.

I see her as willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish her goal. And that's what makes her both a great character and a great villain. I see her as a sort of Darth Vader villain, as she was made evil and led down an evil path.
