This s prototype picture of the Didact from Halo 4 that I'm painting right now.It's unfinished, but I wanted to post my progress which is better than this: [link]
I read the first two books of the forerunner series and played the game. I first thought
that the Didact is a jerk because of Halo 4, after reading the books... makes a lot more
of sense.
I wanted to express more than anger and hate in his face. Because, behind that angry/pissed
shell, lays a sad, a very sad guy who miss his dead adult children. Sorry if I made him look
older than he actually looks. The Didact is a great character and I hope to see him again in
the series + look forward to read Silentium.

Plus I think, like Guilty Spark, you'd get pretty pissed at doing nearly nothing for 100,000 years and then having everything ruined by a human in green armor.
I own and read the books about months ago, and doing so really touches on how he developed his motive in Halo 4.

Yeah, it's pretty miserable. The forerunners are cool, advanced, and stuff.
But, don't sleep and AIs thinking for you all the time? Sheez! The only
thing the Didact needed was to take off his armor and a year to put his
s**t together.... including different hobbies 
used to meditate in order to calm himself down and think straight again.
