Description
So, about 25 or so hours overall, colours done in Photoshop CS3.Feel free to ask questions, I'll try to answer them.
Final piece is here -
with some others.
NOTE: this isn't a tutorial as such; i worked out a pretty solid method while working on these illustrations (I ended up producing more than 20 of them) but I've since changed my process a fair bit and always continue to experiment, but either way I hope it's helpful.
Enjoy!

Great that you are willing to give us an insight on your personal mini-workflow/process from concept to finished "painting".
I would apreciate it greatly to see more of this in the future, and i think more will agree on this.
Have you ever thought up on maybe recording it through Screenrecording-software, that would be the only thing which will surpass this jawdropping insight.

I've done it a couple of times; I just never remember to get around to it. Maybe I'll jump on the livestream bandwagon some time

I pretty much always have the brush on 100% opacity but with it set to pen pressure so I can control it like that.
Thanks

Despite not being a tutorial, I still gleaned from it. I love to watch the creative process for that reason alone. it turned out beautifully And I can't wait to see it in print!

Bloody fantastic. I love when you break it down. Its so inspiring. Do you do your line work with pencil or digital. it looks so tight.
