Description latest in a long line

I was a bit worried about this one but seems to've been relatively unfounded, I think. I've worked out that this process is not for the faint-hearted; there were a lot of points during this painting where I just thought; nope, this ain't working . . . But I knew that all the others had gotten through that stage fine, so 'twas all good. A bit of different texture helped ease the monotony, too, so woo! to that.

I took a screencap so I'll put the video up tomorrow (I need sleep now). Enjoy!

EDIT. Video's up . Pity about the music, but anyways... Perhaps I shouldn't've used the album version.

Really great work. I wonder why they don't suicide and can only fire their rifles now, they should be able to do both. They only last for 20 seconds anyway though.

NOOO!!! not infested Terrans!! I dont like them >< their porn soldiers and colonists and stuff.....but...I love em wheen I play Starcraft 2 now as the zerg THESE GUYS ROCK!!...does that make me hypocritical?O.o...........good job yayz

Taking an already devastating combination of man and machine, and then involving not mutation, but EVOLUTION... Corruption? Conversion...? No, it is something different, something more...
The true nature of absolute assimilation into the great hivemind, no matter how deep one goes, can never truly be shed light upon. The Khala- a link to all Protoss, a super-empath entity controllable by none. Once in the swarm, though... One would be hard pressed to escape, much less keep their very minds intact. I applaud you for a piece of inspiring artwork of Zerg capabilities, this is a magnificent image telling a tale few ever could tell themselves...

im really impressed with this, i didnt like your choice of light colours though, i loved the linework (i could never have the patience).
I put it into photoshop and made what i felt were imrpovments to the colour and shadows.
I have it saved somethwere but i dont want to put it on the internet to show you incase people think i stole your idea

I kinda miss the face that said I used to be human but still the option for the infestation to not only be one the inside of the armore but wraping around it gives me the willies like it's still just a parisite and it's still trying to consume all for the Swarm!
