Nice work. Best place to learn from is the insects and creatures of the real world. Be inspired by other design and look to where they were looking for ref, not their work alone. Otherwise you only see the possibilities they saw and realised, not the full potential of what your imagination and the world around us combines has to offer.

Awesome!! It's like a mix of the Zerg from StarCraft and a Necromorph from Dead Space.

I think this is the best Mr-Jack inspired painting I've seen yet. You really nailed it!

giger Alien drone, starship Troopers brain eyes, lego Teknik arachnoid structure + dreugh legs from tesΒ oblivion combined into a "Drasterach..." (?)Β Β sweet!

Funny thing is I thought about the alien drone only as I was finishing it . What I had in mind was a spider, mantis, zerg and cockroach. Now the cockroach part is more like a cancer, the back-tail part. That is where eggs and offsprings are kept. In earlier stages it showed better but then i concentrated on "fleshyness" study. I think I'll do a creature sheet as I enjoyed working on it. Thanks a lot for dropping by. Cheers
