Description
Last of the ground units, unless I decide to do a take on the new version of the infestor; which I might.Anyways. Obviously the SC2 queen; I will do the original version as well, but that comes later in the air units.
Another complicated one, this; maybe 8-9 hours total; 2 of that on the linework; and another fun one, I must add; very happy with the final result.

It looks a lot like the queen xenomorph in Aliens.

all the starcraft races/units are parodies of Sci-fi movies, protoss/predator, terran/space marines.

There are no patents on the xenomorph or all the other Sci-fi originals character, and it's a parody. like 3D dot heroes and the original zelda games.

That would be Warhammer 40k. Tyranids = Zerg, Imperium of Man = Terrans, And I think its the Eldar = Protoss but i might be wrong on that one.

The SC1 dropship is from Alien, the Zelot is influence from predator, the golith is from robo cop. For SC2 the colossus is from war of the world. The series is full of parodies/refrences.

True, but you'd think they would say something in the 14 years that the prequel games has been out. Either way it's a parody because it's done in comedy(I'm assuming you haven't played the game), like a how comedy movies can parody something without that series calling plagiarism.

I was trying to find my favorite one to comment on and tell you I absolutely LOVE the whole album...but I couldn't so I chose to use the Queen since it is the ruler of the Zerg hive.
So, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS WHOLE ALBUM. ^^ I've been looking all over for close up, detailed views of individual Zerg units that arent from above. And these are it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I would love to see what you could do with the rest of the SC2 Zerg units! I hope you're still working on these, because it's incredible!
