Description
So the infestor sort of got me inspired, and with a bit of luck I'm hoping to go through the entire Zerg army... Should be interesting to see if I get there. I'm really happy with this sort of style, and it's good practice for me...This is a lot more faithful (obviously) to the current SC2 zergling . . .
Bit under 3 hours, in the end, same as last timeβSB Pro and PS.
(interesting to see how much I've improved in the last year...)

These are the wicked form of Zerg, and of course, the only kind you can pull off a successful Zerg Rush with, You certainly got the "Vicious little fucker" part down with it, I like it alot

looking at yours, it reminds me of a pokemon.....one hell of a pokemon.
I wish I knew what to do when it came to digital colouring :/ my theory is just do it as if painting and add the basic colours and smudge it, any reccomendations of stratedgy?

This was the best Zergling fanart I've ever seen till now. The only disappointment is that I liked the collar-kind of stuff on the back of the Zergling's head.

Though from the looks of it, I prefer the original Zerglings. Quad Zergs? Eh. I reckon they'd be so much slower (logically), esp. if this is pretty true to their design.

I feel slightly blind. I can see two legs, and the claw arms, but no other limbs. Ahhh I fail.

The claw arms aren't the same as the front legs it uses for running, they're held up above its head and don't really move in the animation.

Oh I think I can see an extra arm! OH! I can see it now! Is the sprite actually running like, straight left to right? Because I thought it was running diagonally top left to bottom right. Which is why I couldn't tell there was four legs x.x

I think they've always had 4 legs, the size ratio was just a bit more and since it was so low-res the front legs ended up being about a pixel each, if that. They were always more 'hoppy' than regular bipedal anyways...
