Description
OOOH SHITIt's nearly over! After a decade it'll be over this year!! Holy shit!!
=================
This page took forever and I still don't like it.
It's half way through the year but I'm already confident this will be the piece I draw this year I am the most unhappy with.
Red-draws and laziness and re-draws and I just wanted it done. Next page will be better. I am sure.

In all seriousness, you've made it fairly clear that Alice is into it. And if I'm not wrong, she's kind of worried that Sapp was right; that having straight-up executed someone, and having lost her innocence to some degree, she's no longer "special" in Conrad's eyes.
Thing is, I kind of think the opposite is true. I think Raege knows that Alice is hurting because of what sher did, but I don't believe that's made Alice any less 'special' for her. Probably just the opposite. Alice is always going to be 'the civilian' in the crew. She never had any of the brutal Imperial Guard training that all of the others can fall back on to carry her through a situation like that, but she still did the "right" thing by the Imperium's laws.
As I read the characters, I think Raege wouldn't see Alice as "ruined" by the experience. But that she's instead gone from "innocent child" to "young adult" by going through an emotionally brutal rite of passage. Which sounds awful, but... you know... it's 40k.

Alice isn't hurting about what she did, though. Raege can 'feel' that.
It's why Raege says what she says as a statement not a question.

love how expressive Raege is in the last two panels. Opera gloves/pink panties boone and gym clothes raege is the best

I think you might have gone a bit overboard with Raege's hips. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I think she looks terrific like that. Or maybe the regular commissar outfit hides them. Either way, I like "dem hips" Raege.
