She is left in the care of an inquisitorial agent wearing a psy-inhibitor and who communicates only through gesture. Is hidden in cargo holds and transferred from ship to ship, until a suitable placement can be found.

Presented as a gift to recently reinstated "Commissar" Conrad F. Raege, and breaks down into incoherent sobs within one hour of new job. Disappointed and despondent , Raege never the less respects Silas' wishes and employs Boone as her commissarial aide where she will most likely be out of harms way.
