True true. Ive seen some mad strong guardsmen setups. Its getting there thats the problem. Think of it like this analogy: You are a chess club nerd that has to walk through a classrom full of angry, socially retarded bullies to get to the can of spinach that will give you the power to potentially figt them off. You can sneak around all you like, but eventually one of those dim-wits will spot you and its pretty much in lucks hands if they have anything bigger than a bolter or warp weaponry.
Pretty much why I haven't played one (and I rather watch my friends become meat smoothies at the hands of chaos beasts than myself

Vostryoan Guardsman, Arbitrator, Psyker and Assassin. And only the Assassin can do any sneaking, just because of high agility...

Its a pity the other adept became zombiefied, I rather liked him. You know this sounds familliar to some movie with B52 bomber where all the crew got shot up and then the co-pilot goes to check on the crew but they became zombies somehow. Eh, I think that was a movie.
Anyway, where is Triela Wheeljack? Did her player just decide to run off the board for a toilet break or something?

Aheh. You spot correctly. If you read the comments on other pages you will see that this chapter in the story was indeed based on a segment from HEAVY METAL, the animated film.
This chapter is even called "Take'n a ride" same as the film segment.
I like Daffyd too. And Vogel and even poor Chadsworth. Our DM made characters we liked, damn him.

i just watched that whole Heavy Metal B-17 thing and did that green glow and all that messy stuff in the engine have something to do with the warp zombies?

GM here, yes it did. Opening the cloaking device was the trigger for the zombies getting up, actually took the players a while to get around to this.
Mercifully 'Lexus has neglected to put in the solid 20 minutes of checking that the ship was working, repairing the engines, chatting among themselves, drumming fingers on desks, shooting at corpses that the crew indulged in before taking a look at the giant green glowing machine.
