Is Kerruns the guy who wants to be leader and who I thought was going the hero (mainly because he had that vision that hinted at the other members of the party on the first page) but turned out to be a jerk who is illfitted for the position?

To be honest the only times I see this guy as a jerk would be when he makes broad generallizations about the lower classes.
But he only seems to be this way with the teams tech-priestess, and although she may be fun and has a better way with people and a sense of humor, she can be a bit of bitch.
Actually that only seems to happen when shes with the prime psyker (sorry don't remember their names), and the one scrap where she shows her ego and refuses to move the dead bodies so that she can piolet the ship, or when she calls humans biotrash (but shes part of the Mecahnicus cult,it's to be ecxpected).
So just a case of conflicting characters in a story, and in a story conflict is good.

Kerrun's face in the last panel is so beyond perfect. To bad saying "yeah, we'll do your little errand, now quit yelling into my face" would probably get him shot. at best.

Probably the most obvious would be the adpet, who's steaming like a piece of forged metal in water. That or Kerrun who seems to be under control of himself despite still being under some of the psych drugs pumped into him.

Techpriests have a habit of hiding weapons inside hidden compartments in their bodies. Last thing you want to do is give one some baggy clothes to covertly retrieve a hidden knife/laspistol/etc. from their thigh ala Robocop.

Both techpriests would have undergone body scan and have been given replacement prison robes in place of their usual ones. Anything that can be removed, has been, as such both techpriests only have their potential coil and data ports still attached.
