Description
These concepts were on my mind, in sketchbooks, sketched comics and in the case of Bok, actually made it to the comic ( the original comic was a once off, and so Bok's species and gender was indeterminate, but I had it in my mind that he was a girl) all that was important was that he/she look unimpressive.Levy was orignally more based on Captain Sturn (the Heavy metal one, not DOW) and was at once more bluff and soldierly but also a far, far worse person. As is all that remains is his being flippant and arrogant (Its also where I got the name as Eugene Levy did Captain Sturns voice.)
I do like the look though.
It occurs to me that some of my viewers may have prefered macho Raege. Certainly, it could have been fun, but I dunno.

This. If Raege ever gets drunk/gassed with some nefarious chemical/any other substance that lowers inhibitions, it would be hilarious for the horndog personality to surface, if only momentarily.

Dem, teeth indeed, my friend. Nothing like a girl who can open beer bottles with her overbite.

i think in the case of raege your viewers would prefer a more chauvinistic and well lets be honest sexually aggressive. fa/tg/uys want that delicious boone lesbianism

I think we can assume, then, that not many of my viewers are fa/tg/uys, as I have delivered little to no Raege and Boone lesbianism, with no signs of changing this pattern. From which, I can deduct that either my viewers like what I'm currently doing, or really REALLY enjoy being frustrated and clinging to false hope.
Either is quite likely.

Well, Boone already works hard. Maybe she just needs to keep doing what she's doing and wait for Raege to change.

Bok actually looked kinda bishonen in the penultimate panel last comic, must be something about the feathered hair. Probably a good idea having Raege the way she is, it's nicer when they're sort of skirting around the issue, /tg/ would be all over that shit though.
God damn, but Boone is cute here.

Mr-Culexus In reply to Astereth [2011-01-19 00:57:30 +0000 UTC]
I thought so too. It was hard not to make him look a little more elegant and noble with his eyes closed and his hair splayed out (and much cleaner than it usually would be.
/tg/ would be all over it yes. I do like /tg/ but if I drew what they wanted me all the time, I could be arrested in my country.

I really like raege as she is
....incidentally, how do you pronounce her name? just "rage"?

Mr-Culexus In reply to Purgarot [2011-01-19 00:59:55 +0000 UTC]
Like the word. My linguist fop of a brother assures me that the way I say Raege for her name and the way I say rage as the word are subtley different, but its almost inaudible to most ears. Just say Rage.
