Angela balled all of her fists, trying to contain the pressure. The magical forces swirling within her had to be held, and six hands seemed more than enough for the task. Angela shut her eyes tight, and focused on keeping the power in her new limbs without sprouting any newer ones. She concentrated on her hands. They can grasp this power, Angela thought to herself. They can build, they can create, they can... they can...

"...destroy," she whispered.

Her eyes jolted open as she felt a surge of energy unlike anything she had ever experienced. Her skin began turning blue, glowing brighter and brighter. Her body grew taller and more muscualr. The shreds of her clothing looked like animal hides. Jewelry and beads dangled from her many wrists. Her long hair grew nearly to the floor and seemed to sway in a warm breeze in the otherwise chilly archives.

Angela gazed down at her new form, equally impressed and fearful. Incredible, world-altering power bubbled within her. She slowly opened her fists and studied her palms, contemplating the precarious gift she had received. She closed them up quickly, creating six soft, staggered claps. It was enough magic for one day, Angela decided. First she would have to get used to coordinating an additional four arms.
