"Wait, I--" she began. As quickly as her body had caught alight, it fizzled. A puff of smoke rose to the ceiling as a pile of ash collected on the floor. A pumpkin-shaped belt buckle was nestled within.

There have been other particularly dark endings to all of these. Personally, I love the dark or 'bad' endings far more than the bright/goofy/'good' endings to sequences or TF art in general. Besides, I very much doubt Angela is 'dead'. She's probably going to continue to exist within the pumpkin belt, given that it was not rendered to ash like everything else on her was. Probably as a fire elemental or something.
