Angela's fingertips flowed with her newfound wealth of magic power. With an unusual amount of flourish, she flung her arms outward. A pop and a flutter echoed through the archives. In her right hand, Angela had a firm but dainty grip on a wand. Flowers and confetti burst from its tip. In her left hand, Angela was tipping a silk top hat which had apparently housed a trio of white doves. Conspicuously absent from the room was Angela's usual wide-eyed shock at these revelations. Her sudden accumulation of magic had also imbued her with a new and appropriate self-confidence. Conjuring a hat and wand from thin air was not a surprise to her, but rather a precisely performed prestige. As she held her pose, she felt her clothing changing to reflect her sense of showmanship. Her gloves condensed on her wrists to become starch-white cuffs. Her loose-fitting tunic clung to her body as a tailored, ruffled blouse. Her jagged witch's dress followed suit, tightening into a pinstriped pencil skirt. A bustle hung from her corset with a pair of classy tails. Her hair complimented the outfit, dangling towards the floor in extravagant twin curls.

Angela surveyed the dark basement. Casting spells in the shadows was for witches, she decided. Someone of her caliber needed a stage.
