As Angela's body kept expanding, it appeared her clothes had given up the ghost. Increasingly stocky limbs tore at her sleeves and shredded her tights. Seams burst from her sides as her girth piled on. Her fingers and toes felt strangely numb. Her leather gloves and boots split open, revealing pointed hooves where her digits once were! This revelation forced a squeal out of Angela's widening mouth as her center of balance shifted, steering her towards the floor.(1.) Angela completely pigs out!

It's referring to the seams in her clothing. It's not a very successful pun, I know. I've got a couple hundred of these things; I can't expect all of them to land.
