Description Well, here's my entry for White Owl's challenge of designing a new look for her.
I'd been going back and forth between form and function and decided to try for a combination. I'd wanted to see about adding some leather padding, but it was just not doable for me (at this time - still refining my texturing). So I based it upon conversations I've had with . In view of her love of classic heroines and their looks, I'd decided to go for a look similar to that of the classic Black Canary, down to the fishnets & cuffed boots, but with other, slight modifications.

It also holds to the majority of her own basic costume design, and I (of course) kept her mask & belt completely intact.
Onto the parts -

Body suit - (V4 Bodysuit) Made from a new compound that may look rigid, but is actually quite fluid in its motion. Called En-Durmis, based upon its seeming nature of that of a second skin, it can endure many environmental extremes, and can also serve to reinforce muscle and bone, as it thickens upon 'sensing' a tensed muscle. The sleeves have a thin mesh layer for extra protection in melee combat. The blue covered portion on the back serve as extra support and protection for the upper spine.

Tights (Superhose) are actually a transparent version of En-Durmis, with a white fishnet pattern imprinted upon it.

Bracers (Spartana) are made of a base layer of En-Durmis along with a fine coat of Flexi-Steel which reacts to (and greatly enhances) the base layer's muscle-reactant extra reinforcement. Can withstand (and possible redirect) lasers.

Boots (Free Power Girl Cosplay costume from TerryMcG on ShareCG) The cuffs can retract to be more aerodynamic, in response to touch-sensors in the boot toe.

The mask & belt were generously provided to me by Athena herself
--------------------------

The reason I opted to give her heroic persona the white hair, is to aid in the protection of her secret identity. Athena wears glasses normally, as does (for example) Clark Kent. But where Superman wears no mask, White Owl DOES, and her eyes are framed in a similar fashion, so there's an increased chance of recognition. If her hair color changes, as well as its style and length, it frames her face differently and subtly changes the perception of her skin tones and eye color, adding to the illusion.
---------------------------

En-Durmis & Flexi-Steel provided for White Owl by Arthur Drakon of Drakon International - Drakon: Making Tomorrow's Dreams Real Today.

White Owl is of course the OC & property of
Arthur (Dragonaut) Drakon (and his creations) is copyright myself.

This looks awesome and I do like the White hair change, kind of like how Felicia had blonde hair but it turned white when she became Black Cat in Spiderman!
