Disarmed - Part 9Jack: Training begins now!!!
For the majority of your physical training you will be reporting to me.
You will be working together to overcome your obstacles and some of them you will be able work on your own.
I'll also be handling your 1 on 1 combat skills and helping you improve them.
And since the Chief nor my superiors at the ZBI like us wasting ZPA time. You will also be teaching the latest batch of recruits.
Nick: alright cool, WAIT? WHAT?
Judy: At this point Nick, you really shouldn't be surprised.
Nick: Learning to improve in training is one thing, but training others is something different altogether. I can't handle that, I can barely handle my self at times.
Judy: Don't worry Nick we'll do this together.
Nick: At least I know that wasn't a Surprise.
Jack: Oh almost forgot (not really) Skye will also be helping you teach the recruits.
Nick: sigh...
First things first, IM LAAAAAATTTEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
I mentioned that I was going to get this done before the month of February ended and I'm one day off. But never again ( I say this but I know somewhere down the line I might miss another one of my planned release days)
So I hope that this three part image makes up for it.
Anyway the next image in disarmed will be coming a lot later as I have a planned commission from Zanrok for the What if Collaboration, and will be released along with the story when it comes out.

Tho I have 2 arms, I am well aware of how it is to have but one.
Angel Walker lost an arm in an accident, and, as usual, a lost arm never grows back. He would in the excitement of the moment, reach for something -and, as usual, the arm is NOT there to get it.

As cool as it looks. No police department would send cripples or amputees to operations or to patrol. It's not discrimination, it's just safety regulations. They wouldn't be even able to reload a tranquilizer pistol or cuff a target. It was already hard enough to believe in the movie that Nick and Judy would pass with flying grades in a training regime specifically made for bigger species. With the loss of one arm, they would be at an even bigger disadvantage. They would be able to be instructors in the academy, though.

Mr. P, in the first panel it looks like Judy has Nick's left arm pinned back. Am I to understand that Nick has to swing with one arm on that obstacle?

If Nick was alone then he would be but Judy is there to act as his lost limb and vice versa.

I was wondering about that. I zoomed in on the first panel and although Judy is riding piggyback on Nick, at that particular moment, she's holding on to his other arm so it wasn't obvious her free paw was going to be helping when they move onto the next bar.

Nice going on showing how hard they have to work in their training and now they have to work together in their training to be successful and having jack there to help them and encourage them to push them farther than they have ever gone in their training.

This was one of the reasons it took so long to create. finding moments where they could work together or in tandem.

I get that and it shows how strong their bond truly is and I love the surprise that jack gives them that they aren't only training them selves they will train the new cadets and that sky is going to help them and speaking of that I love nick reaction to that news while he is freaking out and Judy is calm and collective with that news.
