Yep, another Quick Sketch. It's been a while since I drew any Marvel Comic characters, and I was in the mood to quickly sketch something with more detail.Not only that, but I just wanted to show my bro that I can still draw other things and not Naruto all the time.
When I draw Naruto, it's the same style but with less detail and more anime like. As many of you know, I combine the best of manga/anime with western style art.
I drew this quickly at work, and took about an hour and 13 minutes. I would clean it up more, but I've got to get home.

and no, I didn't use any reference. It's all out of my head, and I've been drawing this way for most of my life. it's just recently I started to draw a little more clean/more anime like so that it fits the Naruto characters more. When I draw Marvel or DC characters, I do it this way. This is my main style of drawing, but it doesn't seem to be that popular here on DA...

You're lucky that you have a base in comics, because when we get to it
they have better proportions than manga.

yeah, I started out drawing comic book style (my bread and butter), so it's tricky for me to do the Manga stuff. lol
I do have a strong base in comic style, and adding manga to my style has helped me evolve. You already have a very unique art style, and I'm sure you'll do great in the comic book art form.
right now, I'm learning all I can on digital coloring... I'd love to get as good as and how he colors here... [link]

Wow really can't wait to see this then. The fanfic is already epic but the doujin will be even more epic 
I actually started to imagine a story with Naruto and Sakura sparring but it's still all in my head... still dunno if I'll do it or not. For the moment I'm only practicing with fight scenes and I need to improve a lot until I get something really really good !

Wow, this is a very interesting Sabertooth. Especially how you draw his face, he does look very menacing and fierce. I remember watching the X-men animated series when I was younger, so it's always fun seeing X-men drawings ^_^

Is this any particular artist's representation of Sabretooth or just your own take on him?

I'd say a little bit of both... I've always been a huge fan of Joe Madureira's version of Sabretooth (and his artwork) and it shows here in this picture... but I drew his hairstyle differently, and added a small beard on his chin.

I picked up Heroic Age Avengers from the library today and looking at Romita Jr's work, I think he's taking some anime influences with how he draws face. For younger/less buff guys, he's taken a bit of a "bishie" approach, especially with Killraven. There's also this pic with Thor staring in wonder at Galactus that has a bit of an anime feel to it too. After I finish reading I'll scan some certain parts.
