When it comes to death scenes and Transformers there are three that come to mind, Optimus' death in the 86' movie, Starscream's death in Armada, and the death of this character from Beast Wars, Dinobot, and yeah, it was hard to decide between the three, but as far as just going out like a boss and dying for a cause, Dinobot takes it, he took on all of the Predacons by himself, while seriously injured and refused to go into stasis lock to save his life in order to stop Megatron from killing the primate ancestors of mankind, and he was a total badass through out the episode, granted he's a badass in almost every episode he's in but still, and he has arguably the greatest last words in fiction "Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds along with the good and let me be judged accordingly. The rest is silence." and with that I leave you all with the eulogy that Optimus Primal gave for Dinobot's funeral (yeah I think Dinobot is one of the few Transformers characters that had a funeral) "He lived a warrior and died a hero. Let his Spark join the Matrix with the greatest of Cybertron."Related content

Oh dear God, I saw first saw this as a 6 year old and I cried my eyes out! 18 years later I still tear up every time I see that scene. And you can NOT tell me that's wrong.

Oh, and another extremely depressing scene in Beast Wars, which happened to be right after this episode.
The episode with Transmutate. Oh that poor thing, I dunno why I forgot to mention that one too.

When I was young and saw this, I shed great many a tear. I knew, once he was gone, there'd be no more like him.
To me, Beast Wars Dinobot was one of a kind.

I heard that when Scott McNeil was voicing Dinoot's last lines, the production crew was laughing, so Scot said, while in character, "Do you mind? I'm trying to die here!"

Man, Dinobot's death has seen many a tear shed. He's up there with Optimus Prime's passing in the '86 movie. A hero and warrior who gives it his all to the bitter end fighting for what's right.
As for Starscream, who gives a shit?! He's an arrogant, whimpering, lying coward who plots to usurp Megatron at every given moment...and he's too stupid to keep his plans and ambitions a secret! He's practically boasting how he'd be a better leader than Megatron every waking second! I am surprised that Megatron didn't just obliterate this loud-mouthed traitor from the first inkling of betrayal that leaked out of Starscream's mind.

Lol this guy thinks Megatron is perfect and Starscream is the worst.
Megatron is an obvious asshole who never listens to Starscream's advice, or anyone else's advice for that matter (except Soundwave's, perhaps), so I wouldn't put all the hate on Starscream. Megatron also deserves lots of the shit he gets for being a stubborn, arrogant prick.
