Loki- Prince Blueblood(From My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic): While I hate it when people make characters into full on villains because they're jerks in cannon, Blueblood is an acceptation, like Loki, he's arrogant, and selfish, and I have a head cannon about Blueblood, and how he's jealous of the one other stallion in the Royal Family for getting the love of the citizens of Equestria and his aunts
Nick Fury- Falcon Seven(From Birdman): They both wear eye patches and call on superheroes when shit hits the fan
Ironman- David Xanatos(From Gargoyles): If you don't know the reason, then either watch a few episodes of Gargoyles or turn in your geek card
Captain America- Samurai Jack: Both are men out of their own times and are great warriors
Thor- Shining Armor(MLP:FiM) The much more beloved male in the Royal Family, driving Blueblood to a jealous rage
Hulk- Rath (From the Ben 10 series): Both are big rage monsters
Bruce Banner- Dexter(From Dexter's Laboratory): A young genius who is prone to accidents
Black Widow- Scarlett(From GI Joe): Both are kick ass red head government secret agents
Hawkeye- Snake Eyes(From GI Joe): Both are top assassins and are in some way romantically involved with their red headed counterparts
Phil Coulson- Double Dee(From Ed Edd n Eddy): Both have the loveable nerdy feel to them
the Chitarue- the Mutraddi(From Sym-Bionic Titan): Both are savage alien races

This so-called recast and similarities with some of these characters is so small that it's idiotic... not even with their film or animated counterparts and it's no wonder that you don't go into further details.
Scarlett is not a government agent, she's a counter intelligence soldier working for a Special Counter-Terrorist Unit Delta. Black Widow (who was a villain at first) is a spy who works alone half the time, she's will do just about whatever it takes to complete a mission, even it means sleeping with the enemy. Snake Eyes can barely be called an assassins (he's a commando).
Snake Eyes and Scarlett are not "in some way romantically involved"... they are in love with each other and have been together since the team was formed in 1982. You need to do a lot more research with these characters.

You know, I had a similar idea for Rath and Dexter playing the roles of Hulk and Bruce as well. Great minds think alike.

I have no idea, maybe the Lich, he's the only villain I know of that's as insane as Thanos with his love of death
