Description

This is a specualtive monster from the woodcrafter(and social gravedigger) folklore.

As the woodcrafter once thought that all predators are evil, this monster has combined traits from various kinds of predators, most of which once hunted the ancestors of the woodcrafters. Those traits are circuagodog/cutthroat teeth, predatory grappler arms, giant wings and wicked claws on its four legs.

This creature is basically a monstrous chimera, which ambushes or chases down woodcrafters and in older versions of the stories it also makes pitfall traps.

The ice demon is said to destroy the food of woodcrafters and also of the social gravediggers, as it brings the cold, winter, strong winds and the night (all of which follow him), the plants wither and die from the cold, and the prey animals (of the gravediggers) flee the cold.

It is also followed by glaciers (on the far right of the picture).

There is also a ice version of this monster, which is white grey and blue and has blue eyes like the glaciers.

This version is the normal version. On the left of the picture you can see animals that flee the monster and still living plants. The monster leaves dead, withered and frozen plant remains and the bones and frozen corpses of all kinds of animals in his wake. It brings snow storms and winds that chill to the bone and kill all life.

It moves southward slowly but surely, and wants to destroy all life.
